In over 20 years of supporting the villa I’ve never felt like this towards anyone associated with the club. His tactical cluelessness and constant excuse filled demoralizing press conferences have turned this great club into a joke. Villa park used to be a fortress and now it’s an easy away point or three. Give Kevin thr job till seasons end and we’ll try forget you appointed an ex blues man with no track record of success. UP THE VILLA

Please Santa, I have been a loyal supporter of Aston Villa for over 50 years. I have been through some really bad times in those years, the worst being dropping down to the old 3rd Division. However my brother and I still travelled to some God foresaken places around the country.
Even as bad as those times were, they are nothing compared to todays troubles. Now I cannot bring myself to go as far as Villa Park to watch my beloved Villa.
Maybe you could visit really early this year and bring me the best present of all.
Surely I am not asking too much of you because I know you must also be a fan as you have brought many items of Villa kit & accessories for my delight.
Please, please Santa, please can you arrange for the useless ginger tosser who maquerades as our present manager to resign, get the sack, forget where he works, get him another job as long as he is no longer at my once great club!!

there is no doubt the next game for fans will be seen as a watershed. I can not say I ever want us to lose a game but if we did ….

    • February 14, 2012 10:21 pm

if we lose the next game, i think even the most ardent McLeish supporters would have to call for his head

      • February 14, 2012 10:36 pm

not many of those out there ….

I am shocked we have not seen more anger towards him at VP, remeber the abuse Houllier got.why has Mcleish with his background avoided that ?

      • February 14, 2012 10:39 pm

The life and passion has been sucked out of the crowd. It seems a lot of people have just accepted the mess we are in and that we are stuck with him. Houllier was bad, but this bloke is taking being bad to a new low!

      • February 14, 2012 10:51 pm

the difference could be that many were still angry over MON leaving and could not accept houllier …

If you look at it, compared to last season it is the exact same position. Last season houllier got the Newky and West Ham back to back wins and that in effect saved us

now we have Blackburn, Wigan, Fulham and Bolton, 3 wins, defo safe, two wins almost, one win nervous and no wins ….

        lets not think about that

      • February 14, 2012 11:00 pm

I’ll be glad when those 4 games are over. Going to be a very nervous few weeks.

Mick Leeming, I dont want the clueless one here anymore than the next, however, he does have a track record of succes, he won the cup at Birmingham, led them to there best ever EPL finish/unbeaten run, home unbeaten run, and enormous success at Rangers.

He will come good,it is a fact that with the loss of AY and SD, DB just doesnt get the service anymore and without the service DB is just another EH

    • February 17, 2012 9:32 am

His failures easily out weigh any success that he has had

AVFC will not get relegated under him, AVFC are not good enough at the moment to command a top 10 place, AVFC will not finish lower than 15th. Yes he took BCFC down but he won the cup, he got his tactics spot on and he won BCFC a cup, BCFC are now better for having played in the Europa Leage, and would you rather a few season scrapping between 12 and 15th spot with a manager who knows how to win cups.

      • February 17, 2012 9:41 am

It is very naive to think Villa will not get relegated under him. We do have a squad that is capable of a top 10 place, we just dont have a manager that is capable of delivering that. He won the Carling Cup, big deal! Steve McClaren won 1 of them, does it make him a genuis.

As for BCFC being better now, that is because the have Chris Hughton in charge and not Alex McLeish

I havn’t and never will go to a Villa game whilst mcleish is in charge. I think the emotionless mentality around Villa and the fans is because its just disaster after disaster with the club, it dosent even bother me that much when we win (which is quite rare) anymore because that just means that mcleish will be there longer.

This muppet is a no hoper, rubbish record, rubbish tactics,Square pegs in round holes, Get ride of him now Randy. If we survive this season we will struggle next.

If you really do have Villa at heart you will listen to the fans. Villa park used to be a vibrant place to play football, supporters with a genuine feel for the game and a good sense of humour, Bring it back Randy….you know where to start!
